Witnesses on the train

they are having their dc here in calgary at the pengrowth saddledome so this morning the lrt train was full of them.. what a spectacle.. guys in ill-filling suits (on a roasting hot day) and 22 year old women dressed like they are 42, all with their silly name badges and yapping on loudly (much louder than anyone else ever talks to each other on the train - i guess they have to be conspicuous eh?).

little did they know that sat just feet away from them was an evil apostate ... ooooh.

Peppermint - can understand the crying in the midst of all those Witnesses. If I happen to see a group out on the ministry it reminds me of my situation, and I also feel sad for them as they are misled. I seem to have got to a stage where it doesn't bother me too much, though.

White Dove - nah, not many at all would recognise the book if the extent of my bubble was anything to go by.

Sister dies (?) at DC

no, this is not a joke.

having actually managed to survive through the entire 3 grueling days of the dc after attending the friday session today (hit sat and sun last weekend) i was initially going to make a criticism of some of the parts & points at the dc.

however, something that i witnessed today changed my mind.

In spite of it all- not too shabby

sometimes i used to get a little sad for being a late bloomer by worldly standards.

but when i consider how i've done in spite of my dub background i feel pretty proud: baptized by 16. servant by 19. disillusioned by 22. first date/kiss by 23 (with a worldly girl- the mind control starting to lose hold!

) chance to lose virginity by 24 (but still too brainwashed to give in to my "wrong" desires).

How do you now interpret the Lords Prayer?

for those of you that have survived and come through the great tribulation of having been a member of the wts and still have a faith in god, how do you now interpret the lords prayer?.

just what do you think jesus meant when he said "thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven"?.

It's official - my first convention

i decided that it was time my study conductor got a payoff for his nearly two years of diligent study and so i told him i will go to the convention in sandy eggo.

i have never been to a kh or assembly or anything that was jw in nature, so i am asking for a little help.

so, i made a print of my beth sarim picture that is my current avatar so i can show it to anyone i meet and the will know i have 'tower cred.

anyone download the new version of ff3 today?

looks nice, seems a bit faster, and i just wanted to try a post.

i wonder if there will be paragraph breaks in this post.

However, the developers already issued an update, version 0.13 which is compatible with FF3.0, it can be downloaded here .

Thanks very much - it seems to be working fine. This will be most useful for creating paragraphs and lists etc. in FF.

How would one go about creating a div with a specific class without resorting to the html view? This would allow me to mark comments as quotes. Perhaps there is a plugin I could use - will have to have a look.

You know your comment sounds like someone who's ignorant of the Bible and insist his own opinion.

To what comment of mine are you referring? My previous post in this thread was merely intended to point out that your assertion that long-haired men are ugly is entirely subjective and undermined by the popular image of Jesus. This isn't an opinion; it's fact. Some of us like long hair on men, and some don't.

I agree that Paul wanted veils for women. Why do you feel the need to suggest I'm ignorant of the bible and am opinionated?
